Renovation projects can be so rewarding, especially working with the inventive architects at KEEL Concepts, Inc. Photography shows the just-completed remake of the Augusta Heights Baptist Church. After selling the original sanctuary, AHBC chose Keel and Marsh Bell to execute the remodel of the original education wing into a new children’s area, adult classrooms and fellowship hall (with a warming kitchen), along with an area for a homeless ministry. Adding to the challenge … water damage, asbestos and the need for an elevator and other ADA accommodations. Big recognition goes to Project Engineer Jonah Stone and Superintendent Chad Davis for their great work during this challenging 8-month project.
