The Knockout Butchery

The Knockout Butchery was a new construction endeavor which sought to create a butchery and meat processing facility along with a welcoming gift shop for customers to purchase fresh products direct from the source. Indeed, this is a facility conceived and built by farmers, for farmers shrinking the distance from farm to plate for the surrounding community. Built to meet all USDA guidelines, this approximately 8,000 SF structure is settled on nearly 4 acres of existing pasture. Marsh Bell Construction oversaw the implementation of new utilities and septic while the “stick-built” facility with prefabricated wood trusses and exposed timber posts took shape. Final touches included a metal roof, multiple cooler rooms, siding, and modular insulated wall panels suitable for washdown. Extensive sitework was also included within the scope of this project.
